I got a D50 about a year and a half ago and am starting to look around

I have a Sony DSC-M2 that I a mplaying with.  The language set in the camera
is cimplified Chinese and, althought the manual is in English and lots of
on-line sites show how to set the language to English, the screen is not
available in this camera.  Specifically, the set-up screen ...

On quite a few occasions I have taken shots at a wide variety of events
such as weddings, carnivals, sunday league sports etc.
Whilst I'm more than happy to supply the principle subjects of these
photo's with a copy or 2 I find I'm increasingly being badgered for

What exactly does the portrait edition give you over the regular pro
for the Epson stylus pro series, such as the 4800? Is it just a
software package? Do I need this if I have photoshop?

I copied a nef(raw) image over from the CF card from my Nikon, to the
hard drive, but when I tried to open the file in PS2, I got a message
of the file being of invalid type, even though it had the correct file
