Adobe Lightroom Review?25 Mar 2007 04:49 GMT3
I'm an average recreational digital photographer who is still looking
for THE all-in-one solution for cataloging, editing, printing, etc.
(Not so interested in posting pix to the Web).  I find PS Elements a bit
cumbersome in its implementation, and wonder whether Adobe Lightroom
Great News!  The Canon EOS-1DS Mk III uses Embedded Win32!25 Mar 2007 03:32 GMT37
For maximum efficiency in running the dual Digic III processor engine Canon
has elected to use Embedded Win32.  This is really exciting and
groundbreaking news that will surely have even more Nikon users jump ship
and come over to the Canon camp.  This is going to be one sweet ...

How Do I Predict Image Scaling With of Photofinisher Prints?24 Mar 2007 20:34 GMT5

Walgreens) of some digital files. I want to ensure that a certain
vertical element in the photos  is 2" high when printed by the
photofinsher.

JPG->TIFF->JPG24 Mar 2007 18:28 GMT60
On a recent trip, I took all my photos in high quality JPG's. Does it
make any sense to convert them to TIFF files for the purposes of
munipulation, and then convert the finished photo back to a JPG.
Questions for users of Fuji 380024 Mar 2007 18:22 GMT1
I am considering getting a used 3800 for my kid. He's learning some about
photography and doing well with it, but I don't want to invest much as he's
still a kid (read, prone to be forgetful) and if it goes bad it wasn't much
of a loss.
Nikon D8024 Mar 2007 17:36 GMT4
I am unhappy with my Nikon D80 pictures-inaccurate colours as though from a
cheap camera although the pictures are sharp.  Would be interested to hear
from other D80 users.
