| Resolution required for a 'top-range' printed image | 23 Feb 2007 20:12 GMT | 28 |
I will shortly be going to Kolkata to collect images for a book I am writing. I have previously used my Cannon PowerShot A540 with OK results. My publisher has recommended that I take my photos at the highest possible resolution, e.g. 600ppi. Should I invest in a better

I must admit this thing sounds so sweet blasting off 10 fps! The sound alone makes you want to go out and buy one for the sole purpose listening to the shutter while blasting off 10,000 shots per event. With such a beautiful sound like this who cares if you get a single keeper out ...

| Using "pre-digital" glass on DSLR - any problems? | 23 Feb 2007 14:59 GMT | 18 |
Lucky me, I just got a D80 + 18-135 for my birthday this week. Coming from an FA, the options are somewhat bewildering (and I have to remember what I changed ISO to), but it feels good in my hands. I am happy with my new toy.
