| 50mm f/1.4 fastest AF lens for a Nikon digital? | 24 Feb 2007 15:09 GMT | 23 |
Hello all, I am looking for the fasted possible AF lens on a nikon D2Hs, and I think its the 50mm f/1.4. Its for available light shots indoors, of kids that never sit still! I know there's a 1.2 but its no AF. Maybe someone else makes a lens that would work?

| Converting vob to jpg | 24 Feb 2007 11:41 GMT | 10 |
I received a slide show greeting CD instead of a greeting card. I am wondering how I can extract a few pictures from CD (VOB) in order to print out using Canon ink jet printer. Craig

| I am having issues connecting my camera to my comp.... | 24 Feb 2007 10:50 GMT | 12 |
Hi all. I have a digital Canon Powershot camera. Up until last week, it connected through the usb cord just fine. Then a few days ago, when I hooked it up to get pics off of it, it didn't do anything at all. It was like it wasn't even hooked up. Normally when it is working and I

| K790 cameraphone | 24 Feb 2007 10:29 GMT | 1 |
I just tried out the Sony K790 Cyber-shot 3.2 megapixel cameraphone. Not yet up to the image standards of a regular digital camera. My review is at http://scilib.typepad.com/science_library_pad/2007/02/my_review_of_th.html

| opening angle vertical, horizontal, or diagonal | 24 Feb 2007 08:44 GMT | 14 |
i´m quite new to this topic, so please excuse my possibly stubid question. Is an opening angle of 60 degree for a ccd camera meant horizontal, vertical or diagonal? The resulting picture isn´t a square, so it can´t be all of it.

Sorry if this is a repost for some of you. This message didn't seem to go out, yesterday. I don't see it in my NG reader, anywhere. Stinkin newsfeed at work is getting worse, I think! I have the Pentax K100D and am looking for a relatively fast zoom lens

| Lightroom prints not centered | 24 Feb 2007 00:36 GMT | 7 |
Thanks to everyone's advice I decided to download the trial for Lightroom. (Currently use PSCS2.) My first reason was to use it as a management tool, but the more I played with it the more I liked it. (Might even convince me to start shooting RAW again.)

| Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED | 24 Feb 2007 00:16 GMT | 15 |
All, I guess it's a stupid question. Is there any chance to find a teleconverter for this lens? I realize that it doesn't have a thread, but maybe there is something useful even in this situation?

| EBAY HACKED AGAIN | 24 Feb 2007 00:08 GMT | 6 |
Seems as if an Ebay employee has unwittingly let a load of Ebay IDs and passwords escape onto the web, and Ebay are trying to cover it up under the guise of a 'phishing' scam. 1200 Pages of eBay IDs??? Shill bidders ripping off buyers is bad

| Whats the typical pixel resolution of a decent zoom lens? | 23 Feb 2007 22:33 GMT | 8 |
I want to know if going from a Nikon D2Hs (4.1 MP) to a D2X (12 MP) is going to get me any more real resolution (meaning, NOT as if I resized an image to make it bigger)? The lense I am thinking of is 17-55mm, supposedly a fine lens.

| EOS-1D Mark III outperformed by 35mm disposable camera | 23 Feb 2007 22:15 GMT | 6 |
Strange, but true. I made a test pattern composed of red dots and placed some distance away from EOS-1D Mark III and adjusted the zoom to match a 35mm disposable camera.
