Me and the missus were planning a trip to a nudist resort this spring and I
wanted to get a good, high MP, concealable camera with long-distance

Lightroom for RawShooter Premium Customers?25 Feb 2007 12:02 GMT12
Does anybody have an idea why Adobe has NOT contacted the Pixmantec customers
for their promised upgrade to Lightroom 1.0?
Has anybody had any luck getting Adobe to recognize this and to get their
promised copy?
digital camera recommendations with short video functionality25 Feb 2007 10:10 GMT11
I plan to buy a digital camera with short video functionality. I am
thinking about canon PowerShot SD600, but the product description
didn't mention the maximum length of short video. It will be cool to
buy a camera with short video functionality (~ 1 hour max.). Please
The 5D is incredible at 3200 ASA25 Feb 2007 06:29 GMT27
I really could have used 1600, or even 1250 for this shot, but it had
been raining, the clouds were dark, and there just wasn't much light
to work with.  I had the lens wide open ( f/4 ) and the ASA maxed
out.  Really didn't expect to get much quality, but this one is
bulk scanning?25 Feb 2007 03:01 GMT5
I'm a 35 year old man and I've been in a lot of pictures over time,
and luckily in the last 5 years they've all been digital... but last
night I realized that I have boxes and boxes and books of photos of
every type... polaroid, 4x6, 3x5, and some 3.5x3.5 (i think) that I
Samsung 815 must have bombed25 Feb 2007 00:19 GMT1
Price for it in Canada has fallen from something like $899 at
inception to $599 now.  That is a steep drop.
Filter Size: Pentax-M SMC 50mm f2 Lens - Asahi Optical Co.25 Feb 2007 00:07 GMT3
Does anyone know the filter size for the lens in the subject line? I can't
find anything on the lens that tells me this?

Flickr vs. Photobucket24 Feb 2007 23:12 GMT15
I saw some articles saying Photobucket is used far more than Flickr.
But I think that's usage of certain photos and not the number of
photos on each site.  Myspace apparently utilizes photobucket a huge
amount.
What digital camera review site that you trust?24 Feb 2007 23:10 GMT15
There are practically hundreds or more sites that provide reviews  for
digital cameras - steve digicam, dpreview, dcviews, image-resource,
dcrecource, photography.com, pcworld, pcmag, etc. What camera review
site(s) that you frequently visit and trust?
Someone should firebomb Yahoo's corporate headquarters24 Feb 2007 21:20 GMT14
Without doubt, 90% off all spam originates with yahoo mailing
accounts.  That corporation shows no interest in trying to control
this.
Best camera for ~ £150?24 Feb 2007 18:58 GMT5
I'm looking at buying a new digital camera. I don't know too much
about them, so I'm looking for a little advice, if possible.
Basically, my budget is around the £150 mark, which isn't much I know,
but at the same time, I don't want to pick up a piece of rubbish - so,

Photo editing software besides Photoshop?24 Feb 2007 17:25 GMT15
Just got a new camera and was trying to upgrade my Photoshop software
to CS2 to process the RAW pics.  Discovered after downloading the
purchase that CS2 doesn't support my camera.... so I immediately
called to cancel the purchase.   Too late... charge was in progress
Canon luddites dining on crow THREE TIMES NOW24 Feb 2007 16:41 GMT45
1.  They said Canon didn't need digitally optimized lenses for their
sensors, their crummy film wide angels were fine.  Canon just released
a brand new one to address this KNOWN performance issue.
2.  Dust cleaning was silly and uneeded.  Anyone can clean a sensor.
Magic Lantern Guide to Nikon AF Speedlight system24 Feb 2007 16:04 GMT2
I picked up a copy this week. It's got a lot of good information in it,
all in one place. However, the image reproduction quality on the pages
is extremely poor when the pictures are showing the flash's LCD display.
They're barely readable (pg. 166, 222-3 for example). The ...
