| Best current MAHA Battery Charger? | 06 Feb 2007 22:18 GMT | 17 |
With the new types of NiMH rechargeables out there, I'm wondering what MAHA battery charger (over at Thomas Distributing) would be the best model to purchase, considering value for the dollar, and which one would be the Ultimate, without worrying about value.

| Cleaning slides | 06 Feb 2007 21:40 GMT | 2 |
I have a bottle of Kodak film cleaner , is a cotton T shirt material, Q tips, soft enough. I have micro cloth but it is colored. I can see a problem getting into the corners and know the wrong cloth can scratch film-slides, or is micro fiber cloth the only way to go.

| Separating Auto-Focus From Shutter Release (Canon C.Fn-04) | 06 Feb 2007 20:59 GMT | 5 |
I tried asking this question earlier using a different subject line but got no responses, so I thought I'd ask again with a simpler subject line. I'm not satisfied with the % or in-focus shots that I get when shooting fast-moving sports like basketball with my Canon 20D. I've ...

| NoiseNinja Pro - why get both Standalone and Plug-in? | 06 Feb 2007 20:45 GMT | 3 |
I'm planning on purchasing Noise Ninja Pro. But, why would I want to pay the extra $10 to get the Plug-In + Standalone, vs just getting the Standalone version? Does the Plug-In version do something that the Standalone version does not, other than allow me to work within PSE3? I

| What's the digital camera brand lineup | 06 Feb 2007 18:21 GMT | 11 |
Some of the respected brands of 35mm film camera were Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus, Minolta, Contax & Leica. Now that everyone is moving to digital, I notice that most of these brands have fallen by the wayside, leaving us with Nikon and Canon. The argument about which of ...

| canon a710, or sd630 or sd600? | 06 Feb 2007 15:22 GMT | 18 |
Planning to get a digital camera. Total novice. Want to use it for vacation photos and want it to last many years. Seems like a710 or sd630, sd600 are most popular. Which would you recommend? a710 apparently has a poor screen, sd630 has a nice screen, but not view

I will be travelling in Europe and need to take photos inside relatively dark historical buildings, churches and museums. I prefer to use flash as little as possible, and in some cases it is forbidden. Yes, I will use a tripod, where required

| Optimal distance | 06 Feb 2007 13:54 GMT | 1 |
I'm taking several photos of documents laying on a table with my Coolpix L1 (without flash) and I'm trying to determine the optimal distance - tipically I hold the camera at a height such as to see at best the document in the display. A question is whether macro setting is better ...

| Canon Media Storage | 06 Feb 2007 11:10 GMT | 1 |
I emailed Canon U.S. today, to ask about their Media Storage M30/M80. The response was to ask in Canada. ( I am in Canada) It was announced in October 2006, I believe. Anyone know why there is the delay? It seems rather long.

| Camera and -20C temperature | 06 Feb 2007 09:07 GMT | 26 |
This weekend I'm going to ski in a great place to take pictures but the weather forecast is max -13 and min -20 degrees celcious. Since my camera is pretty big (Canon S3 IS), I don't want to ski with it all the day. So after a while I was planning to let it in my car (well
