I own a Canon A95 camera and use Sandisk standard speed 512mb cf
cards.
At times, it seems to take forever until the camera is ready for the
next shot. Is it likely that using a higher speed card such as the

I've just bought an Olympus EVOLT E-500 and this morning received a
SanDisk Ultra II 2.0 GB CompactFlash card.
I can only insert the card one way round - with front (darker side)

I read an article on Cnet about how 8 or 10 megapixel cameras are
not as good as they could be because their megapixel capability
does not match sensor sizes well.  If you buy a camera with 8 or

I want to be able to take close ups of spider webs, insects, leaves etc. Can
I  use a non-macro telephoto lens such as a Nikon 70-300 to do this, or does
the telephoto lens need to have a macro setting?
What about using a close up lens that screws on to a regular lens ?

Why oh why Fuji and Olympus couldn't go the SD route with everyone else!
My girlfriends laptop, being a Sony, only has a bult-in card reader for
MemoryStick. She's recently got a Fuji Z3 for which I bought her a Fuji Type
H 1gb card.
