I shot some mini movies on my Sony Cybershot camera (5 megapixel thing) about 2 or 3 years ago. I have the files saved on my hard drive (they are in *.MPG format) - the videos play perfectly on my pc (and Mac)

I read in an article today that Vista automatically adds noise to images, as a copyright protection mechanism to prevent illegal copying of images (and music and videos). The idea seems to be to go back to the old times, when analog copies always degraded a bit. Can anybody ...

This has probably been discussed here already. I would like to download high quality photos from the internet into a new computer then display them on a 42" lcd moniter at the best possible quality. What PC system and video card is best for resolution and aspect ratio etc?

My uncle Ron is poised to buy a pocket digital camera. the Canons look as good as any? but is it worth paying out for the image stabiliser for those low light long distance shots, or is the image stabiliser an expensive gimmick? thanks
