I come from an FA with 35mm and 105mm, used it for 17 years. Most of
the time I was using the 105 on S with the time on 1/250, if there was

Camera for surreptitious photography?20 Feb 2007 17:07 GMT57
The gym I lift at has its share of idiots doing idiotic things with free
weights and machines, and I'd like to be able to photograph the more
ridiculous "lifters". Of course my 20D or even my camera phone would be
too conspicuous. Any suggestions?

about 1mm in diameter to fill the frame, i.e. about 15x magnification
on a DSLR or lower magnification with a P/S camera.  The images need

We are seeking out a new digital "inexpensive good" (is that an oxymoron?)

Technical info20 Feb 2007 12:53 GMT2
I would like to have a reference book which explains the technical
aspects of photography. It would probably be along the lines of a
textbook for a university or college course. Could someone please
recommend some? Thanks!
Help! - D200 saving two JPG but no NEF20 Feb 2007 12:50 GMT38

might be wrong.  Please advice? FZ7 cost about $260 and K100D cost $460 with

do browser understand colorspace?20 Feb 2007 03:57 GMT11
For people who use colorspace other than the default sRGB, if you drop a
photo with a tagged colorspace into your browser, would it render the color
correctly, or does it ignore the colorspace?
