Nikon D80 and Transcend SDHC 8 GB card25 Jan 2007 03:47 GMT17
Does anybody has any experience with this combination - Nikon D80 and
Transcend SDHC 8 GB card? I saw on the transcendusa.com web site that some
Canon digital cameras are having problems with 4 GB cards even if they
supposed to be absolutely compatible and when people tried to ...
canon 24-70 f/2.8 vs 24-105 F/4 IS25 Jan 2007 03:44 GMT15
Trying to decide which one of these to buy for wedding photography.
I am not to concerned about the 1 stop drop in light of the f/4 lens, but am
more interested in the extra Zoom upto 105mm.
The real question is, for weddings, particularly in the church when things

Casio Z-750 or related disassembly help?25 Jan 2007 01:02 GMT6
Does anyone have any experience disassembling a Casio Z-750 or similar
model in order to clean the sensor? I've got almost half a dozen large
black smudges showing in all photos where the aperture is small. I'm
guessing I've had some condensation issues inside the camera. Any help ...

I thought I was buying Hoya Circular Polarizing Pro1 Digital Multi-Coated

Pro1.... no D for digital.   I missed this when ordering.  Then I checked
the MFR # with a site that says they sell the Pro1 D one... ...
Canon S224 Jan 2007 22:00 GMT1
Anyone have one of these?  I got it for Christmas and am having issues with
battery life.  It uses 4 double a's.  I got 4 rechargeable batterys and have
to replace them after like 10 pictures.  It can't use batteries that fast
can it?  I think my charger may be bad though because it ...

Nikon D1H vs. D20024 Jan 2007 16:51 GMT11
Any opinions on this?  I see there's plentiful D1H's in the $500-600
range on ebay, and for that matter D1's for even less.  2.7MP is
enough for me.  But I do care about high ISO noise, and I think the
sensors back then were less efficient than today's.
Low Cost "Back-Door" To A Profitable Part Time Photography Career24 Jan 2007 16:36 GMT3
Your photography equipment needs are minimal. You'll need a basic SLR
camera - film or digital. For additional control and future options,
the flash should be removeable. You'll also need lenses to cover the
standard range of portrait shooting distances, a couple zoom lenses
Photo Archiving Question24 Jan 2007 16:26 GMT3
I am in the process of scanning a large number of old photos. To save time
I've scanned multiple photos at once creating a large image containing 6 or
7 small photographs. Now that I have all the photos scanned I need to cut
each one out of the larger image. I'm looking for a faster ...
Sony DSC-T9 exposure bracketing problem24 Jan 2007 15:56 GMT3
hearing all the hype about HDR i wanted to try it out by myself.
I'm using my Sony Cybershot DSC-T9 which offers a so-called "exposure
bracket" mode where you can select the exposure diff (like +/- 1,0) and
then the camera is supposed to shoot 3 pictures in a row.
HP Camera's24 Jan 2007 13:46 GMT1
Never buy Hewlett Packard Camera's!
My HP Photo Smart 618 of Euro 545.-, only 5 years old, can't be repaired
because they don't have spare parts anymore.
Mr. Said, a spokesman of HP in the Netherlands, said to me:
Best way to store Camera & mounted lens in bag?24 Jan 2007 12:57 GMT3
I recently got a heavy lens and realized I need to be more careful about my
mounts.  I do a lot of shooting outside, therefore like to go out with my
main lens I am going to use attached.  When I was using prime lenses or
short telephoto, I was just setting it down in the bag as ...
Anyone else have serious Red-Eye with the Canon A640?24 Jan 2007 12:11 GMT23
I'm pretty shocked with a couple of the problems with the Canon
A640, primarily with indoor shooting.
In particular, there is very serious Red-Eye problems even though
the Red-Eye Reduction is enabled.
