New photo metadata tool26 Jan 2007 18:39 GMT7
Since I am evidently the resident MS guy here, I thought I'd point out a

My SAMSUNG Digimax V4000 wont switch on !!!!26 Jan 2007 18:25 GMT1
Was working fine, but this morning it wouldn't switch on, even with
new batteries. It is out of warranty. I believe it is expensive to get
it repaired.  So I would like to open it myself and see what is wrong.
Before I do, any help would be much appreciated, as to how to go about
What format do you store edits in?26 Jan 2007 18:12 GMT4

Mostly because of VR and the convenience of having to carry around
only one lens most of the time. I am still learning photography and I

middle of experimenting with ISO settings and shutter speeds with my two
main lenses and expect this to go a long way toward ...

Death knell for prosumers?25 Jan 2007 20:31 GMT194
Real prosumer cams are long gone.  The magnesium-bodied Olympus and
Nikons have been replaced by plastic so  the "bridge camera" quality
