what is the relationship between the no. of pixels a picture has, it's
width and height and the Kb it takes up, esp. pix on the Web.

OK, folks, a while back, there was a discussion on technique (as
usual) and one of the things that came up was from one person who
talked about "awesome lighting" --- 1/2 hour either side of sunrise
and sunset.  For the life of me, I can't find it in my links, google or

have any of you experienced an inability to get clean blacks from the
nikon d1x camera?  all the blacks in my shots are fuzzy and hazy.  I've
tried numerous settings inclduding white balancing and still can not
get clean blacks.  any info greatly appreciated.

I have a new Nikon D2Xs (since Nov 2006) with a number of prime and zoom
lenses, all of them AF-D Nikkors.

OK, I got my new Nikon D200 and love it.  Bought a copy of Photoshop
CS and went out and bought a Huey Color Management System.  For those
that dont know, the Huey is a small device that you place on your
