Need a Rec for a cheap P&S (~ $200)06 Jan 2007 06:18 GMT9
I recently damaged my Nikon D70, which was uninsured. So I am looking
for a P&S in the $200 range. I also had a mini P&S, which was
impossible to use without camera shake. I don't need the compact size
of a mini. I also don't need 8x10 prints. Most of what I do is
Umax Astrapix 430 Plus - memory card and USB problems06 Jan 2007 06:18 GMT1
I got one of these cheap on eBay for my 3 1/2 year-old daughter, and she
loves pointing and clicking, but... I can't get the photos off! It
didn't come with a lead, and I can't for the life of me work out what
the little rectangular connector is (it's not a 'normal' mini USB, or

Hoya filter question06 Jan 2007 00:59 GMT6
I was looking for some Hoya filter information when I ran across this
website, http://www.kenko-tokina.co.jp/e/index.html  Here I found the Pro 1
digital filter series being shown as made by Kenko, while here in the US
these are marketed under the Hoya label.  Who really makes ...

What's the best camera that's about 1" thick at any price?05 Jan 2007 19:29 GMT26
I need a new camera to replace my Coolpix S3, which I do not like.

Removing dust from color slides?05 Jan 2007 18:34 GMT7
I have a lots of color slides to scan.  Although my scanner does remove some
of the dust it does not, at times, remove all of it.
I wonder what would be the best way to remove dust from the slides before
scanning.
Photosuite 405 Jan 2007 16:21 GMT13
After Photosuite 4 was installed on my computer with other camera
software, it took over all photos on my hard drive.  Every jpeg photo
that I saved or transfered ended up as a "photosuite 4 image".  Many
applications do not recognize this format and it became complete chaos.

I've got the Canon PowerShot SD400 Camera.
Over the last few days, my virus scanner has been reporting that the

Best (low end) digital camera?05 Jan 2007 11:24 GMT22
I'm planning to get a digital camera from Sammy's Camera or maybe
Walmart. Need recommendations for a low end model in the $150 price
range. Something with reasonable resolution, and an optical zoom lens,
and not too many other features. Someone at work has a Kodak C703 from
