Digital tripod?12 Jan 2007 16:36 GMT101
I recently went digital by buying a digital Rebel. I even have a
couple of "digital" lenses, although I admit they seem to work like
normal lenses. My existing tripod is a Star-D has some problems and
looks pretty old compared to my new glitzy gear. So I think I need a
Nikon CoolPix S10 vs. S412 Jan 2007 14:35 GMT7
I got interested in a small superzoom (x10) with sweavelable LCD. Hence
my interest in Nikon S10. I could pick up cheaper a refurbished
previous model, S4. It has the same sensor and the same lens. Only, S10
has image stabilisation. How important is it to have an image
What am I doing wrong (new to DSLR, bad pics)?12 Jan 2007 11:53 GMT24
I just got my new Canon Digital Rebel XTi today.  As I usually do, I've
been comparing photos from my new camera with the photos from my old
camera, a nearly 3-year-old Nikon Coolpix 8700.
I'm using a Tamron 17-50 lens, and shooting in Full Auto mode.  This is
Falling flash memory prices.12 Jan 2007 11:37 GMT18
I wandered into the local Staples today to discover 2GB Sandisk Ultra II CF
cards on sale for $39.98 (normally $110). While I havent priced any memory
in a while this was surprising to me.  These cards work pretty well in my
D70s and E-500 DSLRs. I thought this sounded like a ...
Flash for Minolta Z112 Jan 2007 11:17 GMT3
I just got a Minolta Z1.  It seems that the Minolta Flash 2500 (D) are
going for more than what I paid for the camera.  Dose anybody know of
any off brand flashes that would work with this camera. I have decided
to go to a different brand when I upgrade and I don't want to invest a

Which Monopod?11 Jan 2007 23:08 GMT30
Your expert opions are sought to help me decide on which type of monopod
would suit my situation best.  I have just bought a Finepix S5600 Zoom (10x)
and take photos of my son's Rugby Team.  I have thought about getting a
monopod, but there seems to be 2 main types, either with a ...
Help finding golfers pouch for holdiing compact flash cards11 Jan 2007 22:31 GMT9
Hello Golfers!  I need some help.  Bret?   Anyone?

the digital era, and found it ideal for holding
compact flash cards:
nikon d70 d80 comparison11 Jan 2007 22:20 GMT7
I would appreciate some comments  about these two cameras as I might be
going to the shops with a view to replacing my D70 with a D80.  The
functions that the D70 has are ok for the level at which I do my
photography.  My concern is sharpness of the image.  Printed at 4*6 they ...

I have an Olympus 7070 and shoot in Olympus raw format.
I had to reinstall XP Pro not too long ago. It turns out that Olympic
Master must now be reinstalled.  I cannot find my disk. The only thing
I am interested in with this program is finding the exposure index
