Canon 30D or 350D ?17 Jan 2007 23:50 GMT3
OK, i saw a thread about 20D and 350D,but still, i would like to have your
opinion about other two models 30D or 350D - which one to bought - if it's
OK to compare them. It seems that 30d is much better than 350D, but more
expensive, sure. Currently i have Canon S2 compact, but i'm ...

Borderless printing on 3x5 card?17 Jan 2007 20:24 GMT25
I need a printer that will do borderless or edge to edge printing on a
standard 3 x 5 index card. I have designed a flashcard system that relies
on being able to print color coded blocks right up to the edge of the
card for easy selection of desired cards. I need a printer that ...

How To Go About Buying A Digital Camera
Keeping in mind that the image sensor and the lens are the two most
important areas to look at when buying a digital camera, you can then
look beyond them at other features as well. The features, of course,
Problem with Picassa17 Jan 2007 10:46 GMT5
I'm not able to go into Help in Picassa to access the user forum.  I've
asked several friends  and they have the same problem.   It goes to the
internet, says the page has expired and then goes back to my photos.
Any idea what's going on?  Does anyone else have this problem?
Could i have done this better ?17 Jan 2007 04:46 GMT17
This is my first night shot. I am completely new to photography. I would
appreciate your comments on what settings you would have used to get this
picture. Camera used was a Canon EOS 400D lens Sigma 18-200 DC
Thanks
Canon's IS, Nikon's VR, Panasonic's Mega OIS, Pentax's SR - Image stabilization17 Jan 2007 03:21 GMT19
Are they all different?  or is it just a case of Coke vs. Pepsi?
Any advantage or superiority of one over the others?
Hotshoe spirit level.17 Jan 2007 02:25 GMT11
There seem to be two types; one type has a
clear plastic cube with columns of
fluorescent liquid enclosed, and the other
type has a "bullseye" level on top of a plain
favorite walking-around lens for DSLR17 Jan 2007 01:55 GMT38
If you shoot with a DSLR, what is your favorite "walking around lens",
and why that lens?
I have a 1dMII and I usually keep my 70-200 f2.8 IS L lens on it.
Yeah, that makes for a big "walking around" kit but I've gotten used
Manual shutter speed on compact?16 Jan 2007 21:30 GMT13
(Apologies in advance if this has been discussed, but I did a thorough
search and couldn't turn up anything.)
Does anyone know whether there is a digital compact on the market which
allows manual shutter speed control, or at least a very slow shutter
F3016 Jan 2007 18:59 GMT3
The F30 works well for me in low light.  I'm a private investigator
and as long as I can get a picturee of someones face in a dark bar I
consider the picture a success.  It's not a picture for the photo
album but it does work for the PI business.
Aperture or iphoto16 Jan 2007 18:59 GMT11
I have bought aperture and have been using it for a few months but I am
thinking about going back to iphoto.... am I mad should work on with
aperture until I get used to it ? I just don't see what it is offering
me at present.

I have a Canon PowerShot A70 3.2M pixel camera - a bit a clunker in
terms of weight but that's what I have to use to photograph pages from
books when I'm in the library. Lighting conditions are generally
outside my control. The lighting is generally a little on the dim side
