Hello, and sorry a somewhat rhetorical question.

The Xaver 800 provides 'Through-Wall Vision' to change the dynamics
of your urban operation. With the Xaver 800 you can rapidly and
reliably observe one or more people in a room and continuously monitor
their activities while positioned outside the room's walls.
Cold weather photography--how to protect a digital camera23 Jan 2007 02:50 GMT8
I would like to take my camera in a backpack or under my jacket while
cross country skiing in Montana next month. The temperatures should be
in the teens to 20's. If anyone has done this and has tips as to how to
protect the camera from possible damage, I would appreciate it.
Editing RAW/PEF from Pentax K100D23 Jan 2007 01:54 GMT10
Are there any Pentax K100D users out there?
I'm new to the concept of taking pics in RAW and editing them. I took a
bunch of shots this weekend, and now need to edit them. But, I'm not
sure what software would be best for me to use.
Help needed to buy P&S digicam23 Jan 2007 01:53 GMT7
I'm wanting to get a small P&S camera to take around in my bag on a
daily basis.  I normally shoot with an SLR (Nikon D70 and film camera
Nikon 801).  The last P&S digital I had was a Ricoh  3MP camera and I
am well in need of an update.

memory card straight to a pen drive, without the interaction or use of
a pc. (ie digital camera --> pen drive instead of digital camera --->

Cheap Text Only Printer For House Use ?22 Jan 2007 23:53 GMT25
Figured you folks would know.
I have a several year old Canon printer.
Really basic.  Just a single black cartridge in it; no photo, etc.
It's time to replace it, as it has developed several problems.

Hello all...
I am wondering if I might get some guidance from an expert hereabouts
on what path I should take in my digital imaging journey...?
I am convinced I need a digital camera. It took a while but here I am.
Comet McNaught photo22 Jan 2007 22:37 GMT2
Posting for comments.  The photos I took tonight were my first attempt
at night photography with my new Rebel XTi.  Comet McNaught is fading,
but still visible in the Australian sky, despite a certain amount of
dust haze:

Can someone advise me on which canon remote controller would be better
suited for night photography. The RC-1, RC-5 or the RS-60E3. RC1 and
RC-5 can both fire immediately or would it be better to have the
RS-60E3 so that you can press the shutter halfway to compose etc before
