looking for a photo24 Jan 2007 11:45 GMT3
Does anyone have a photo of roller skating kids that I might use? Our
scout group went roller skating, and I'd like to put a picture in the
newsletter. No one remembered to bring a camera. Even clip art would be
OK. Anything!

Focal length of digital camera lenses24 Jan 2007 09:08 GMT33
Is there some universal standard for specifying the focal length of a
digital camera lens that will allow one to calculate the angle of view of
that lens?  35mm cameras have a standard frame size of 24 x 36mm, so, if you
know the focal length of the lens, you will know the exact ...
A question about D200 metering.24 Jan 2007 07:52 GMT11
Hi: I have a D200 with what seems to be weird behavior.
When I meter a gray card, the histogram spike is perfectly centered.
When I meter a white card, the histogram spike is at the line to the
right of center.
recommendations for photo software24 Jan 2007 03:03 GMT10
I have a Fuji F30 that I use to take land and underwater photos, and find the FinePix
software inadequate.
I'm looking for software that will allow me to see the camera settings for each photo
and to correct colors of my scuba diving photos. Something not too complicated.

NIMH (rechargeable) and Alkaline non rechargeable23 Jan 2007 22:12 GMT30
Coming to grips with battery terminology.  Have read lots of tutorials, opinions, grazed google posts and haven't really found out if one can put charged NIMH batteries in the place of non rechargable Alkaline batteries.  I realise that voltage seems to be higher in Alkaline non ...

PHOTOSIG23 Jan 2007 17:15 GMT8
On a friends suggestion I took a look at www.photosig.com .  Honestly I've
seldom seen so much bad photography concentrated in one spot before.  I
think the photo techs at Wal-Mart see a better percentage of good photos
than one finds at this photosharing community.  I'm sure I ...
HP Deskjet F380 printing problem23 Jan 2007 15:56 GMT2
I have tried every which way to get borderless 4x6" prints. I have used
'Borderless 4x6 (tab)' - this does not fill a 4x6 paper, but leaves a white
half-inch border at right. I have tried ordinary '4x6' - this leaves white
space at top as well as a side. I have even tried ...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07 - noise problems23 Jan 2007 14:40 GMT14
I have read many reviews about the noise problems with the 7.1MP
Panasonic FX07.  My husband bought me one yesterday as I've been
wanting to get a P&S for some time, and I'm not sure about it now after
seeing so many unfavourable reviews whether I should take it back and
