Has anyone had experience with SD to Compact Flash adapters? I have 2 cameras here, one takes SD and the other CF, so it would be nice if I could just use SD cards with both. Thanks.

| Why shop at B&H | 27 Dec 2006 18:26 GMT | 32 |
Her's an example of why. I bought a Penatx K10D camera and a Pentax AF360 flash from them. I had a problem with everything being underexposed when using the flash, to the point of getting dark photos with the EV at +3. Penatx, after an exchange of phots, said it's

| Reordering slideshow photos | 27 Dec 2006 17:51 GMT | 4 |
I was in India for three weeks and have nearly 1,000 photos. In the evening, I'd look over the day's photos in the camera. I might enlarge some and save them. The saved enlargement would then be out of numerical sequence with the original photos in my camera's card. Now that ...

| Optical Zoom versus Cropping on PC | 27 Dec 2006 17:45 GMT | 7 |
Here's a thought I had and I wonder if any of you have experience in this. Can you get the same effect with cropping a picture on your PC as you can with a large optical zoom on 6-8 megapixel cameras, assuming your intent is to have 4x6 or 5x8 snapshots?

| Possible to make remote shutter release for Canon 400D? | 27 Dec 2006 17:45 GMT | 4 |
Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew much about the remote release port on the Canon 400D/Rebel. It looks like a standard headphone jack, from what I can tell. The question is, can I easily make my own remote release by wiring up an old headphone lead and a 2-stage button, or

| Canon PowerShot G7 | 27 Dec 2006 17:15 GMT | 1 |
The Canon Powershot G7 is the kind of camera that not only makes you feel like a better photographer, but helps you become one too, mixing both comprehensive and happily reliable hand holding features with a plethora of real photographic controls that, along with build quality,

| IrfanView 3.99 closes spontaneously | 27 Dec 2006 05:55 GMT | 10 |
Has anyone had the latest version of IrfanView (3.99) shut down when you're doing something like trying to add images for a panorama? Other mouse movements seem to trigger this random vanishing act but that's the only one I can repeat. No other apps behave this way on my machine
