I read the reviews on Sony R1. It takes either proprietary Memory Stick (MS) or CF card. The reviewers advised to get a hi-speed MS to write the JPEG images every 1/3 second. The standard MS provided something like 1 (or 3) seconds between the continous shots. Some other reviewers

Has anyone ever run across any lens (outside of very long ones, exceeding f10 focal ratios) that performs best wide open? In other words, the residual aberrations don't decrease noticeably upon stopping the lens down.
