I have a Canon A610. I'm considering getting an adaptor ring so I can put polarizer filters and nuetral density filters for landscapes. because of the wide DOF of these small cameras, I'm wondering if the split is too harsh or should I go graduated.

Q. Why would anyone waste $150 on a P&S camera when a cellphone will also take pics just as well? I mean, unless you're Ansel Adams or somethin, you aren't gonna notice any difference, right?

I've got one or two images, and when I pull them up, I can't use most of the Effects. One at least one of them it says I need to rasterize the image first. Also says the selection area is empty.

I'm looking to buy a flat panel 19" monitor for editing with Elements. I'm an above average amateur but not a full Photoshop expert!. I've heard well of the Sony SDM-HX95 and of the SyncMaster 931C but are there others? I want to spend £300 tops. What features are vital?.

I am new to this newsgroup, but I hope someone here can help. I have tried to print photos (commercially processed) that I have scanned, and they end up faded. The original photo has rich color, is in focus, etc. The scanned image that I saved looks the same.
