I keep receiving the following error code 1638x17x2784544022x when
install Koday EasyShare v.6.01. I've installed MS Windows Installer

Logitech Web cam software. Still no luck.
Canon 30D for $500?06 Dec 2006 21:58 GMT5
I stumbled across this site:
http://www.shopcartusa.com/Product/1234B004/Electronics~Cameras~Digital_Cameras/
Canon_EOS_30D/PT_Y/?ic_campID=98

It has links to a few stores that apparently sell the Canon 30D for
around $500.  Obviously there's a catch.  Anyone know what it is?
PhotoShop Training/Books -- Recommendations Sought06 Dec 2006 21:25 GMT3
I'd appreciate your recommendations for PhotoShop training courses or books.
I've found a lot of free tutorials on the Web, but they aren't worthwhile.
I took the New York Institute of Photography course about 10 years ago and
enjoyed it.  They now offer a digital course that ...

Sharing CF card between two Canon cameras?06 Dec 2006 17:52 GMT11
Does anyone know for sure if I will have trouble if I share a CF card
between a Canon S70 and and Canon 30D?  Can I just swap the card back
and forth and take pictures with both cameras?
Thanks.
Close up digital pictures06 Dec 2006 17:29 GMT17
May I please have suggestions on digital cameras that are 1+ year older
models that would give me the best internet/web postable pictures.  I
plan on taking various pictures of a machine lathe I will be taking
apart for rebuilding and refurbishing and will need to post pictures in
aux lenses06 Dec 2006 17:00 GMT3
I have a Canon A95 that I'm quite happy with.  For those
unfamiliar with it, the lens has a 3X zoom (35mm equiv 38-114) which is
fine most of the time.  For the few times that I would use a longer
tele, it isn't worth buying a new camera.  Has anyone used auxillary
how many MaH in non-rechargeable batteries???06 Dec 2006 16:37 GMT23
I've looked all over the net for this, but no one seems to have this
information available.  Assuming that I'm stuff without rechargeable
batteries handy, it would be nice to know the capacity of
non-rechargeable batteries.
Canon 1D Mark II shutter life - maintenance - refurb - replacement06 Dec 2006 16:24 GMT55
I shoot sports events, sometimes taking more than 10k shots a day at a
busy event.  My Canon 1D Mark II body has around 100k shutter
actuations on it.  I would like to avoid having the shutter fail in
the middle of an event, so I want to know what types of maintenance I
Compositing multiple white balances06 Dec 2006 12:56 GMT4
I do a lot of stage and event photography indoor and out. In one shot I
might have daylight, tungsten lights, mecury vapor and sodium vapor
stadium lights, HMI lighting, LED Video screens, video projection,
plasma and crt displays, and the color temperature is all over the map.
printing passport pics on 4 X 6 - pharmacy store wants to charge $10 for one print!!!06 Dec 2006 06:23 GMT13
I printed passport size pics on 4x6 size print. (I resized the original
pic to 2x2 in photoshop and put 6 passport pics on one 4x6 print) I
ordered the prints using Kodak Kiosk, the rate was 19 cents per print.
But after looking at the prints, folks at pharmacy photo lab wanted to
Metering System on Nikon D20006 Dec 2006 05:17 GMT14
OK guys, I finally took the camera out in the field to shoot the
Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan and in RAW mode.
Some samples are here http://www.jbandes.com/Public/LuvLatins/ (Beware
if you have a slow connection the files are rather large)
multi exposure tutorial06 Dec 2006 03:08 GMT3
A while ago (before I had my digital), I used my regular camera to
create Multiple Exposure pictures. It involved compensating three stops
when I used 8 exposures in one frame, the outcome was amazing, I still
have big Yellow flower hanging in my daughter's room.
Compact Flash Ultra II Problem06 Dec 2006 01:26 GMT1
I am not sure what the problem is ...I formated my card (Sandisk
Compact Flash Ultra II ) in my Canon 350 and now I am unable to view
the card in the builtin card reader of my computer. However, if I use
the usb cable with the camera, I am able to view the photographs in the
Image management and browsing software05 Dec 2006 22:42 GMT4
What is currently the best image management and browsing software, which
allows you to display the content of a directory and view the images?
- If possible something which optimises the screen space, as many
packages put huge borders around each thumbnail.
