After a repeated failed bid on MF digital back, finally I got my compromised 35mm DSLR. But then I realized why 35mm FF is not always a good idea, if wide angle lens is important.

During my youth I was an avid amateur using a Rolleiflex TLR. My prints were 16 x 20" at most, and somewhat smaller on the average. Prints smaller than 8 x 10" are of little interest to me. What would be the best approach to starting digital photography knowing that

I have looked the question up on the web and the answers I have found there indicate there really is no difference so I figure why not ask for opinions. Is there any difference between 6.2 megapixels and 10.2 megapixels aside from the numerical? Is there a difference in picture ...

Have a Sony Digital8 and it appears the 1394 port has died. I have a 6 foot and 10 foot firewire cables. Never had a problem with the 6-foot cable but the connection on the 10-foot has always been iffy - if it got jostled the right way I lost the connection to the computer.
