Does this simple camera exist?25 Nov 2006 04:59 GMT32
Does anyone make a simple point and shoot camera that acts like a
memory stick when you put it on the recharging dock? When I'm done
shooting pictures I'd like to be able to put the camera on the
recharging dock, go to my pc and open up the E: drive and copy the jpgs
Is APS dead?25 Nov 2006 04:59 GMT104
Just curious, since sales of standard 35mm film are plummeting, sales of
APS film and cameras should be very low by now. Anybody has some
statistics?
Problems retrieving RAW files25 Nov 2006 04:59 GMT20
This may not be the best forum to pose this question, but I thought I
would start here first.  I transferred a number of files (.jpg and .crw
(Canon RAW format)) to a number of CD-RW's.  I have since deleted the
files from my hard drive.  I've attempted to pull some of those files
printers25 Nov 2006 04:59 GMT8
slightly o.t.,
Dedicted photo printers appear to be going out of fashion and all in one
taking over. Any body care to give an opinion on photo quality of these
units?
New Canon Portable Storage Viewer (M30/M80)25 Nov 2006 02:46 GMT16
I have an old Jobo Giga storage device, but am after one with a screen on
it.  I have just been looking on the Net for portable storage viewers and
the Epson seems to be about the best around at the moment (although not the
cheapest).  However, I also came across the Canon ...
ProShow gold DVD output on HD25 Nov 2006 01:08 GMT2
What settings do I need for creating a DVD slide show to view on a HD
(1080i) set? Should the slides be 720x480 max? I just burned one with 1800 x
1200 jpgs, it looked terrible.
Thanks,
Monitor Recommendations For Photo Editing24 Nov 2006 23:56 GMT2
My Sony Trinitron CRT's are on the way out (red colour cast) and so I am
looking for a pair of new 17" monitors.
As I need two monitors, I don't want to spend silly money.  I have been
looking around the internet and there seems to be very little choices of

400D Question24 Nov 2006 20:10 GMT4
Is anyone finding the 400D slower than the 350 ? I have recently
upgraded but I feel the 350 was a better camera ?
Having said that I have a lot to learn :( but if there are any others
out there with opinions on the 400d I would like to know if you are in

Another megapixel experement24 Nov 2006 16:06 GMT15
I just picked up a Digital Rebel Xti. I always test cameras out before
putting them to use. I photographed a test chart with each camera to see the
progression of resolution with the megapixel count. Here's the results.
These were 200% pixel enlarged for clarity in viewing:
Why are stinky farts generally warmer and quieter than regular farts?24 Nov 2006 15:03 GMT1
Why are stinky farts generally warmer and quieter than regular farts?
Most fart gas comes from swallowed air and consists largely of nitrogen
and carbon dioxide, the oxygen having been absorbed by the time it
reaches the anal opening. These gases are odorless, although they often
e-mailing pics24 Nov 2006 09:00 GMT6
When I attach .jpg's to an e-mail and send them the recipient receives the
pics as Winmail.dat and is unable to open them. Does anyone know what is
happening and how I can stop it?
Polaroid camera24 Nov 2006 06:50 GMT5
I have a great Olympus camera but it is a little  bit large. I am
thinking about buying a Polaroid 5.1 camera to carry in my shirt pocket
at times. It lists the only resolution pic as 2608X1952 with a built in
16 meg SD card.(I can buy a higher capicity card) It makes JPEG format
