8 Tips for Protecting a Digital Camera's Memory Card
It's Monday evening, you've made it through the first day back into
your routine after a much needed and memorable vacation. You pull out
the memory card from your digital camera thinking you'll download the
Canon S80 with external flash?08 Nov 2006 16:28 GMT4
How does the S80 control the total flash output when an external HF-DC1
flash is used?
The reason I'm asking is because I want to know if other external flashes
can be used with S80. I already have canon's 580ex. I also have generic
Canon Rebel XT - Can't get good pictures.08 Nov 2006 15:04 GMT80
I just bought a Rebel XT and I just cannot get good indoor photos from
it.  I've only used it on "automatic", but I've used it with the
built-in flash and with an external flash.  All of my pictures look too
dark and lack any vivid color.  I've always been a huge Canon fan, so
Canon new Rebel XTi08 Nov 2006 14:05 GMT13
I am close to buying the newest Canon XTi.  Does this mean flash or focusing
and can this not be done manually with the camera?  Anything negative or
positive about this camera would be a great help.  Thanks   Kathy
where to buy a Nikon SF-210 slide feeder in Orlando/ Miami Florida?08 Nov 2006 13:53 GMT1
I'm visitng southern Florida (Orlando/ Miami) next week and I would
like to buy a new Nikon SF-210 slide feeder for a Coolscan LS5000ED
scanner when I'm there, if possible.  Can anyone suggest a photo store
that is likely to stocks this (rare) item?  Thanks for your replies.
Lense quality08 Nov 2006 13:40 GMT4
I am considering the purchase of some Sigma lenses and wondered what the
difference would be compared to genuine Olympus Zuiko lenses which cost 5
times as much?
Most cost effective photo printer08 Nov 2006 09:45 GMT3
Can you recommend the best photo printer that is the most cost
effective to run in terms of ink and paper?  Here's what I'll be doing:
--Printing only 8x10
--No need for archival prints
Does anybody here know a good memory card FAQ site?08 Nov 2006 07:38 GMT1
I can only find www.allmemorycars.com, but they seem to be a bit
outdated. There last news item is several months old, no info about
SDHC and Extreme IV ...
Thanks
Slide copy adapter for Canon 180mm macro?08 Nov 2006 00:16 GMT2
Anybody know if there is such a product available?
I want to use that lens attached to an EOS-10D for copying
dozens of slides. The 10D's small sensor requires about ten
inches between lens and slide. Makeshift setups are hard to
Easyshare question (for Ron Baird)07 Nov 2006 22:20 GMT2
I recently downloaded the latest version of Easyshare and was delighted to
see that it now can print three 4x6 images in one 8.5"x11" sheet.
However, I noticed one "feature" that I wish was not there:
In printing three 4x6 on a portrait sheet, two of the images are laid down

Scanning instamatic 126 with Cannon  9900F Flatbed07 Nov 2006 21:35 GMT5
I just tried to scan instamatic 126, +/- 25mm*25mm film with my Cannon 9900F
Flatbed Scanner. The Canonscan software does not recognize this format and
distributes the foto as the were regular 35mm foto's. I use the 35mm frame.
With the result that the software seems not to be ...

Photoshop CS2 and RAM?07 Nov 2006 19:38 GMT29
I'm thinking of buying CS2 (I have PS6). I'm concerned about RAM
requirements. I have a 2.4GHz P4 with 512Mb RAM. I suspect a memory
upgrade may be tricky due to the age of the PC.
Is anyone out there running CS2 on a similar spec machine?
