Nikon D mount10 Nov 2006 05:55 GMT4
I was looking at a Sigma 120-300 lens f/2.8.  The specs say that the only
Nikon cameras it will fit are ones with a D mount.  I have a D50 which is an
F mount.  What Nikon cameras have a D mount?
Take photos while connected to pc via USB10 Nov 2006 04:35 GMT2
I'm looking for recommendations for a digital camera that can take
pictures while connected via USB. Ideally you would be able to use the
shutter button or a cable connected to the camera to take pictures. The
main thing I don't want is a special program that is required to take
Monitor Shade for Coolpix s1?10 Nov 2006 01:29 GMT3
I have a little Nikon Coolpix S1 which is comfortably and conveniently
compact.  I can live with most of it's drawback, but it's lack of a
viewfinder makes it almost useless in outside bright sunlight.  Someone
mentioned that there is an aftermarket, collapsible shade that can be ...
Dust on my inside elements....10 Nov 2006 00:35 GMT9
I have the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 a great little lens, but it appears to be
suseptable to dust intake. Its only a few months old, and I have some
serious dust in there. My shots taken all the way open seem to have a
bit more hightlight bloom than before.
Strobe and other underwater lighting questions09 Nov 2006 23:12 GMT6
I have a 3 year old Canon Powershot A70 with housing and do a lot of
snorkelling and some scuba. I have been looking into some extra
lighting to go with the camera and was wondering what options I should
consider.

I'm looking to replace my Canon Powershot S80 after one too many E18
fiascoes and I'm looking at the Panasonic Lumix LX1 or LX2.  Both offer
28mm wide angle, which is important to me, and mst of the same features
as the S80, as far as I can tell.  They have a larger minimum ...

Camera with autofocus during video zoom09 Nov 2006 17:33 GMT4
I'm looking to see if anyone's familiar with a compact digital camera
that, while recording video clips, maintains its focus while zooming
in/out. Most camcorders have this capability. But I'm having trouble
finding a digital camera that doesn't need to re-focus once you've
