My Kodak DX 7440 uses SD up to 512 MB.  Does anyone know (the manual doesn't say) if it can use a 1GB card, or how I can find out if it does?
Thanks in advance.

Kind folks,
We're looking to get a better digital camera, one that's highly

macro button24 Oct 2006 07:23 GMT3
I've got a old digital camera (Fuji A201), and it has a "macro" button which
makes the camera able to work at ~ 30 cm, rather than 1 m minimum.
What does it do ?
Does it add a little lens behind the current lens ?
Lightweight DSLR for backpacking24 Oct 2006 06:01 GMT9
I'm looking for suggestions for a camera body and three lenses: a zoom lens
for general work, a wide-angle lens for landscapes, and a long telephoto
(500-750mm equivalent) for distant landmarks and the occasional moose
browsing on the other side of the lake.

"Inverted-colors" problems with Leica Digilux 224 Oct 2006 00:57 GMT1
I experience a severe problem with a Leica Digilux 2. Both (Back and
eye-view) LCD monitors show the live image with inverted colors ( like
viewing the negative of a film). In playback mode the old pictures are
displayed fine, new pictures have the "negative" look. We have the

Damaged JPG Suggestions for recovery.  Thumbnail o.k. unreadable.24 Oct 2006 00:23 GMT3
I recently had a problem with my Canon S400's memory card door

Panorama QT VR : Saint Paul de Vence (French Riviera - France)23 Oct 2006 23:22 GMT2
This is the beginning of a virtual visit of Saint Paul de Vence (on the
French Riviera near Cannes and Nice).
As you will see, there are a lot of art galeries in this old village.

D70 SENSOR DIRT JESSOPS23 Oct 2006 22:46 GMT1
I'd like some feedback from people out there regarding a sensor cleaning
problem.  The advice I'd like relates to what reasonable expectations I
might have from a repair done under an insurance policy.  I'll try to be
brief.  18 months ago I brought a NIKON D70  from Jessops.  I ...
