Nikon NEF Converter with ISO in EXIF27 Oct 2006 06:53 GMT6
I am using Nikon Picture Project to convert the NEF (D70s)
files to JPEG. I found that the ISO setting used is not seen in the
EXIF info added to the JPEG files when seen in Irfan View. It is not
shown in Windows explorer either. I need a NEF (D70s) converter that
full blurred background effect with D70?27 Oct 2006 06:50 GMT8
I am reading the "Understanding Exposure" book from Bryan Peterson p.36
and can not manage to make my D70 get a similar picture of having a clearly
focused foreground element e.g. flower and get blurred anything slightly
away from the main focus area.
giga print27 Oct 2006 05:34 GMT10
I saw a link to a photo recorded with some fantastic mp count.  Anyone
find a Kinkos and print it?  I wonder what a poster size print would
look
like on great paper.

Backing up Exif data from PEF (Exiftool question)27 Oct 2006 03:27 GMT1
After processing my RAW Pentax *ist DS PEF files with Photoshop
Elements 3, most of the Exif information stored in the RAW image is
gone much to my chagrin. I have been looking at the ExifTools Perl
script and that allows me to copy most of the Exif data between the PEF
high dynamic range in P&S ??27 Oct 2006 03:03 GMT4
I am using Panasonic LX1 for several months already. Now I know what
camera I want. I want a rather compact P&S with a high dynamic range.
E.g. I would like to take the pictures of the building half of which is
Sun-lit, and the other part is covered with shadow. I heard that Fuji
Do you find your camera to overexpose?26 Oct 2006 23:59 GMT4
I've owned numerous compacts over the years by different makes and I find
nearly all of them to be a little hot on exposure by 2/3 to a whole stop.
This is usually apparent outside when some objects tend to be a little
washed out. Gamma correction helps, but getting the shots ...
Anyone know how to save the flash from Smilebox.com?26 Oct 2006 19:50 GMT1
My wife made some picture shows on Smilebox.com, and we wanted to keep
them forever on CD. Does anyone have any clues on how to save the
animations to hard drive?
Thanks!

How to save digital photo in the correct orientation?26 Oct 2006 18:56 GMT5
I have a Canon SD630 that has a sensor to know if the photo taken is in
portrait or landscape. I believe that information is saved with the JPG
photo generated. The problem is that the JPG itself is always in landscape
mode, and I need specialised program to display the photo in ...

Using Olympus Stylus 710 to record off of TV?26 Oct 2006 17:58 GMT1
I own an Olympus Stylus 710 camera. I know it's possible to hook the
camera up to my television in order to have slide shows on the TV. Is it
possible to do things the other way - to record things from the TV onto
the camera (with an xD card)? If so, how would I go about doing ...
Deciptive ad on 12MP digital camera...26 Oct 2006 15:16 GMT1
I have recently noticed a lot of those ultra-thin and super cheap 12
MP camera.  The old saying "If it's too good to be true... it is"
applies here.  The fine print always read something like 3Mpix sensor
with 12Mpix interpolation.  Translation: a cheap 3Mpix camera whose

Some among you required of me why space theatre was protected. And well, it
