Canon SD 800 vs. 700?28 Oct 2006 01:54 GMT2
Considering these 2 cameras; is one better than the other? Is there a little

USB problems with Sony DSC-S5028 Oct 2006 01:18 GMT6
Lately, I've been getting failures when I plug my digicam into the USB port,
causing me to have to revert to my trusty (but SLOW) floppy disk adapter I

digicam?  It fails in every port I've tried, and other ...

Now that I have decided to go 100% digital in lieu of slides, I would
like to get a projector to project the images to the big screen. With
prices dropping to the affordable range, it is time to acquire a digital
media projector.

Nikon Capture 4.4 and Windows XP x6427 Oct 2006 17:42 GMT10
You might have already solved this problem.
To speed things up with the rather slow Nikon Capture 4.4, I got a new
computer with a few GB of memory running WinXP x64. Now the issues:
1) The trial verison works fine.

Having just baught my first digital camera and spent quite a few hours
getting used to its operation, there's just one function's reason I cannot
understand and that's the advantages of using AE-L and under what
circumstances one would use it.
no "click" - memory stick not connecting into Cyber-shot DSC-P3027 Oct 2006 09:12 GMT11
My previous post was a bit unclear; I'll try and clarify the issue:
I purchased a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P30 on Ebay for $40, described as
"in new condition."  I received it today and it is in fact in pristine
shape with all documentation, cables, CD and memory stick.  This
