Lumix DMC-FZ50 SDHC compatibility? RiDATA problem.29 Oct 2006 02:42 GMT18
I recently bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50K camera, and followed it up with
an order for RiDATA's 4GB SecureDigital Card Pro (150X speed SD card).  When
I received the memory card, I dropped it into the camera, and was greeted by
an error when turning the camera on:
Image manipulation & editing program28 Oct 2006 22:19 GMT2
I believe that I may be ready for this now...
Is it Adobe Photoshop elements 5.0 that many of you have?
or would anyone recommend another program?
Thanks
Olympus Stylus 410 problem28 Oct 2006 19:51 GMT1
I've had the Olympus Stylus 410 for a couple years now and it has
worked fine.  Recently, however, when I turn the camera on ("Shooting
Mode") the LCD monitor on the back of the camera is blank.  The icons
that indicate battery strength, flash status, picture count, etc. are

Kodak Camera showing as removable drive but asks to insert disk28 Oct 2006 17:13 GMT7
Just wondered if anyone had come across this problem. Camera is a Kodak
DX4900, which used to show up as such in Windows Explorer (XP SP2) and
images could be accessed directly. Now the camera shows up as a Removable
Drive, but when clicking on it in Explorer, I get asked to ...
Copyright Free or Resonably Priced Photos28 Oct 2006 16:55 GMT9
Anyone point me in the right direction?
All Googling does is get me to sites where they are not free.
Don't mind paying but for my very small, run from home, part time business,
not able to spend the hundreds that some seem to be.
Digital/Analogue Comparisons28 Oct 2006 15:18 GMT47
I was hunting around to see if there are any credible articles
reviewing the state of play of analogue vs. digital photography for
various levels of equipment. I didn't find anything and wondered if
anyone knows of such articles.
Picture Cooler - anyone fully using it/understand it?28 Oct 2006 12:19 GMT2
This is one decidedly odd program, but it seems to have a lot of
promise.  The quality of its denoising abilities compares very
favourably to the Neat Image, Noise Ninja, Noiseware, etc.
Has anyone paid for it and/or seriously using it?  If so, what are the
Canon EOS 300D28 Oct 2006 10:48 GMT7
I have been trying to find certain accessories for my camera after
unfortunately having my camera bag stolen.
The two main things missing are the power adaptor and the charger.
Would anyone know where I might be able to get replacements?
Canon 20D at ISO320028 Oct 2006 09:44 GMT16
I was experimenting at a hockey game this week with my 20D and high
ISO.  This pano is 5 stitched images, all at ISO3200, 1/500 sec,
f/5.6, 280mm.  I was surprised that the image is quite usable. I was
expecting more noise. I had an 8"x32" print made just to see what it

Canon SD 800.28 Oct 2006 03:02 GMT6
I'm posting this item to ask a question, not to be a troll.
I've been using a Canon SD 550 for almost a year, with excellent
results. I ordered a new Canon SD-800, as its specs looked great,
including a 28mm equivalent w/a end, 215K pixel screen, optical
Kodak not so Easyshare revisited28 Oct 2006 02:09 GMT12
All the info I read from the web was about people who had changed to a
Kodak camera and after installing software, had difficulty with email
attachments not opening.  An error message appeared about not being
able to complete the action.... go to control panel to create an
