Need a fast cropping workflow03 Oct 2006 09:05 GMT31
Hi, all.
I've started hand-cropping proofs for better results, but at high-volume
my current tools are killing my productivity.  Most of the time isn't
spent doing the crop, but waiting for loading & saving.
HOA nonsense03 Oct 2006 09:04 GMT6
Many have stories of homeowners associations nagging people about the color
of their homes and height of their grass.  My neighborhood has taken it to
the next level of lunancy.  The HOA insiders (people who seem to define
themselves by their involvement in the HOA) would like to ...

Is Refurbished okay?03 Oct 2006 03:31 GMT14
I sent a defective P-2000 back to Epson for an exchange under warranty
and was sent a refurbished unit.  Somehow I was disappointed because I
always figured that refurbished meant used or traded back.  Any
comments on this?

I have an HP 707 camera.
It is no longer under warranty and I wonder if it got damaged by the high
humidity heat environment?
This summer the relative humidity was high about 90 degree plus and the

NB-2L / NB-2LH "1200 mAh" batteries - any real ones?03 Oct 2006 00:09 GMT3
Dear Experts,
The NB-2LH battery that came with my camera claims a capacity of 720 mAh.
On Ebay, and elsewhere, you can buy NB-2L and/or NB-2LH batteries that
claim much higher capacities, e.g. 1200 mAh.  With some skepticisim I
Lizard Tech - Genuine Fractals02 Oct 2006 21:11 GMT16
Has anyone tried Genuine Fractals plug-in for photoshop? I bought the
3.0LE version a couple of years ago but have never got it to work as
Lizard Tech claim. It is supposed to enlarge up to 600% with virtually
no loss of resolution. When I enlarge an image using Genuine Fractals

Canon Powershot G2 problem02 Oct 2006 19:04 GMT4
All:
I've got a Canon Powershot G2 which is in otherwise good condition
except for one problem. The dial that controls whether the camera is
on, off, or in photo view mode seems messed up.
