Samsung NV10 Camera & Its File Formats10 Oct 2006 07:17 GMT1
Can the NV10's 10MP's be printed to 11x14 print size? The maximum pixel
dimensions are 3648x2736. Are the NV10's file formats (JPEG, Exif 2.2,
DPOF 1.1, and AVI MPEG-4) conducive to such enlargement? I'm familiar
with JPEG, TIFF, and RAW, but don't know about the other formats. Or,

ISO setting vs Noise10 Oct 2006 00:41 GMT18
I am new to DSLR and have a question about proper ISO settings. I
understand that the noise is higher with higher ISO settings, however,
I have a different set of constraints.
Let's say that in an indoor, available-light situation, an ISO-1600 is

on the net where they can be bought for $180 to $220
So...what do you -do- with your photos?09 Oct 2006 21:04 GMT43
I've been enjoying digital photography for a few years now. I have,
literally, thousands of photos. I recently took ~900 pictures in a
single day (a relative's wedding; better safe than sorry). The question
that arises in my mind is: Now what?

rangefinder ?09 Oct 2006 16:20 GMT5
What defines a camera as a rangefinder ?
Is it when the eye piece is off center from the lense ?
So for example, in the film days, were the compact 35mm (like the Stylus Epic)
rangefinders ?
