| got the FZ7 | 25 Sep 2006 21:49 GMT | 2 |
After surfing sites, reading magazines and asking here, my choice of camera narrowed down to the Panasonic FZ7 and KM Z5. I actually like the look and feel of the Z5, but when I tried both at the store with the same SD card that I own, the Z5 took about 3 seconds to write the

| LCD monitor choice | 25 Sep 2006 19:32 GMT | 8 |
I'm looking at getting an LCD monitor. While the PC I'm using it on will not be used much for photo manipulation I'm more interested in photos than gaming which seems to be what the majority of online reviews seem to go on about.

| Site to avoid... | 25 Sep 2006 12:27 GMT | 3 |
I was looking for a site to discuss digital photography and perhaps upload some stuff to be critiqued... I found http://www.ukexpert.co.uk which looks excellent in terms of content. I noticed their T&Cs state that you give them copyright to your images

| Epson R800 opinions please | 25 Sep 2006 09:54 GMT | 4 |
Specifically, is it easy to keep clean? I've been using a 1280 for a number of years - since they replaced the 1270 - and I find I'm spending more time cleaning up ink on the rollers and their carriage than printing. For you Epson techs who are about to

| Picassa question | 25 Sep 2006 08:54 GMT | 13 |
I've been using picassa for a while now with a 2MP Fuji camera. I just switched to using a 5MP Canon. When I load pictures into the program the photo has a label saying "refining", does that mean that its taking much longer to load the larger files, and the picture will

We had a taste of Hawaii weather in Tennessee today. Intermittent thunderstorms mixed with brief periods of sunshine. And like in Hawaii, some of it occurred at the same time. Here's a couple of weather shots:
