the reunion to be able to share their photos after its over.  Ideally,

got the FZ725 Sep 2006 21:49 GMT2
After surfing sites, reading magazines and asking here, my choice of
camera narrowed down to the Panasonic FZ7 and KM Z5. I actually like
the look and feel of the Z5, but when I tried both at the store with
the same SD card that I own, the Z5 took about 3 seconds to write the

All,
If I am going to upload my pictures to a place like ofoto or
walmart.com and want 4x6 prints, what is the best resolution they can
handle?  In other words, at what point is it "as clear as it's going to
LCD monitor choice25 Sep 2006 19:32 GMT8
I'm looking at getting an LCD monitor.  While the PC I'm using it on will
not be used much for photo manipulation I'm more interested in photos than
gaming which seems to be what the majority of online reviews seem to go on
about.
Nikon D200 vs. D8025 Sep 2006 17:10 GMT60
I suppose they are in different class targeting different customers.
However I look at the specs. and find the D80 is really catching up.
I have just sold my D70 to upgrade my gears.
What do you think?

Thanks.
Site to avoid...25 Sep 2006 12:27 GMT3
I was looking for a site to discuss digital photography and perhaps
upload some stuff to be critiqued... I found http://www.ukexpert.co.uk
which looks excellent in terms of content.
I noticed their T&Cs state that you give them copyright to your images
Charging NiMH batteries (slightly OT ?)25 Sep 2006 11:18 GMT8
I recently bought a new charger for my camera batteries (it's made by
Energiser and comes with 4 AAs).
The instruction leaflet says "Batteries MUST be completely discharged
before recharging", and the charger itself has a Test button and a
Epson R800 opinions please25 Sep 2006 09:54 GMT4
Specifically, is it easy to keep clean?
I've been using a 1280 for a number of years - since they replaced the
1270 - and I find I'm spending more time cleaning up ink on the rollers
and their carriage than printing. For you Epson techs who are about to
Picassa question25 Sep 2006 08:54 GMT13
I've been using picassa for a while now with a 2MP Fuji camera.
I just switched to using a 5MP Canon.  When I load pictures into the
program the photo has a label saying "refining", does that mean that
its taking much longer to load the larger files, and the picture will
Convert into digital format25 Sep 2006 05:26 GMT5
I have lots of pictures in prints (hard copy format). Which is the best
way to convert them into digital format so i can view them on the

RAINY DAYS LOVE THE 20D!25 Sep 2006 04:27 GMT6
We had a taste of Hawaii weather in Tennessee today.  Intermittent
thunderstorms mixed with brief periods of sunshine.  And like in
Hawaii, some of it occurred at the same time.
Here's a couple of weather shots:
