Hello everyone...05 Sep 2006 17:00 GMT3
I'm Joe.  I was just given a Canon PS S3 IS for my birtday.  So far I
love it.  It is an upgrade from a Nikon CoolPix 2100.  She loves me.
The question I have I think might not be specific to this camera.
When downloading pictures to the computer through the USB connection,

S3 is05 Sep 2006 13:39 GMT3
My new S3 arrived around a week ago and so far I think its not to bad at all.
I have been using a Olympus C-750 for the past couple of years but the
stability factor was getting me down.  Having been a pre digital Canon owner
for many years and tossing up between point n click and ...

Canon S3 vs other cameras05 Sep 2006 11:52 GMT27
Hi, , , ,
Well, I have been using digital cameras since the early 1990's or so,
and I have found ONE THING to be a deal killer. Proprietary batteries.
If the camera doesn't use AA's or other readily available batteries, I
How did Reuters know Beirut IDF attack photos were doctored?05 Sep 2006 10:50 GMT104

In this day of using software to produce wide angle composits, is there
really any need for a wide angle lens?

Why is the 400D cheaper than the D80?05 Sep 2006 05:49 GMT10
What are the major differences between the Nikon D80 and the Canon
400D? .
I know that Canon will have dust clearing.  And based on history (and
on previews), the Canon sensors will once again have significantly less

I see that the Canon s3 varies wildly in price from different merchants.
From $289-$500+(US).  Who are the more trusted merchants to deal with?
