Hello.  I have a Canon PowerShot A620 and would like to know what
settings can 1) capture actual fog/rain while 2) choosing one central

17 vs 1417 Sep 2006 08:38 GMT2
I am thinking of getting the 17-85 IS lens for my rebel XT.
I am also thinking of getting a 14mm lend to compliment this (for landscape
photo's and real close up wide angel stuff).
My question, is 14mm really that much wider than 17mm? Would it be worth it
Adobe Lightroom, where does it fit in?17 Sep 2006 07:52 GMT9
I was just watching a demo on Adobe's beta of Lightroom.  Where is this

Photoshop, or something that is used in addition to Photoshop?  I'm
confused.

After some searching, I found the SmartDisk PhotoBank.  Does anyone have

Best digital under $250??17 Sep 2006 04:35 GMT2
I am on a fixed income and cannot afford a lot of money on a digital
camera. Can someone suggest a good camera, say, for under $250?
And why it is good too!
Thanks,
Scanned Slides: Filtering non-uniform edge discolorations17 Sep 2006 02:47 GMT4
MY SITUATION:  I am scanning color slides that are 20 years old.  They
have edge discoloration, meaning that the sides are somewhat darker
(perhaps blueish) than the center of the slide.  This is not a problem
with my slide scanner; rather, it is inherent in the slides.  I don't
