Recently got one Canon540 and am using them with Alkaline AAs.Have got some old NiCds and would like to know if they'd be any good? How do they compare vis-a-vis Alkalines? Would like opinions from experts.

For example the angle of view is 100 degrees in lens x with full frame camera and the crop factor is 1.5 in smaller frame camera . So what would be the final angle of view with that smaller frame camera with that lens x.

Seems a lot of brands/manufacturers have gotten out of the digital camera market. Some made cameras, but no longer do; Others still do, but no one sells them, such as Casio, Polaroid, and Ricoh.
