Panasonic DMC-FZ7K  - Slow USB?23 Sep 2006 01:29 GMT6
I'm thinking about getting a Panasonic DMC-FZ7K to replace my Sony
DSC-S85.  I read a short review that listed one of the CONS of the
camera is that the USB is slow, recommending to get a card reader.
I don't know what the reviewer means by slow.   I assume it is USB2,
Full frame rocks23 Sep 2006 00:49 GMT55
This weekend I used a Canon 5D for the first time. I was helping a
friend of mine shoot a wedding, and we were using a 5D and a 30D. I
guess the 30D is also considered a semi-pro camera, but man, what a
difference between the two. Even with the same lenses, the 5D is so
Jaggies?23 Sep 2006 00:31 GMT4
If I understand what I read correctly this refers to the jagged
appearance ofstraight lines on the monitor. Is this correct? Can I

How much can I zoom?22 Sep 2006 17:21 GMT12
I am trying to find a formula or table that will enable me to predict
how much I can zoom in on a digital photograph until it becomes
unviewable.  I know this seems vague so an example of what I mean might
help.

Reco's for compact P&S to replace DiMage 7Hi22 Sep 2006 14:36 GMT2
Our 7Hi just died, or it's dying.  The white balance is messed up and
nothing I do seems to fix it, including factory default reset, having
the batteries out for a few days etc.
Anyway, we realised that we don't really use all the functionality of

Canon Powershot S3 IS - Accessory Lenses.  HELP!21 Sep 2006 23:36 GMT2
I'm searching for Teleconverter lenses for the S3 IS, as well as good
wide angle and macro lenses.  Canon tells me not to use any lenses not
made by Canon.  Does anyone out there know if thirdy party lenses are
compatible with The S3 IS and its adapters, and if they produce good
Got some praise for the SONY repair department21 Sep 2006 20:28 GMT2
I'm one of the "many" that had LCD and/or EVF problems with my 5mp
