I need to find a relatively inexpensive (as I doubt I'll use it that much) underwater camera, something that I can use diving in the Caribbean - I've never dived before so the depths will be shallow I guess - I might do a PADI course while I'm there but don't anticipate anything ...

I'm asking this for my dad, who's not going to be too pleased with a fiddly camera. Can you recommend a digital camera under £150 when the necessary memory card is bought too. We want, I think, at least a 4 megapixel camera, not a cheap lens. There shouldn't be too much fiddly

I have ordered Canon 350D. What are the benefits of using an ultra fast Compact flash memory card please? Am I correct in saying that it only comes into play when I transfer photos to/from the camera. Can I just use the normal CF which are much cheaper?
