Kodak Z740 - Thoughts and Questions about Lenses08 Aug 2006 01:11 GMT1
I saw that someone posted a couple of weeks ago asking about the Kodak
Z740.

camera.  It takes amazingly clear and sharp pictures.  As I put it,

Newer memory stick compatability with Cybershot P71?07 Aug 2006 20:47 GMT1
I am shopping for some additional media for my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P71
digital camera, and I see that Sony's line of Memory Stick media
products has changed a bit since I last purchased some.  I see that
there is now Memory Stick Pro, which almost certainly will NOT work

I know that the Leica C-Lux & D-Lux are rebranded into Panasonic Lumix
models (at a hefty cost reduction). Other than not having the red dot,
are there any other significant differences in the models. I believe
the senors are the same, as are the lenses. But is the build quality
What to do now?07 Aug 2006 19:21 GMT7
As a user and lover of my old Canon AE1 Program, I ventured into digital
a few years back. Since I had already bought the wife a digital Sony handi
cam,
I purchased a Sony DSC-S85, thinking the ease of switching the battery and

"Expose Right", + polarizers07 Aug 2006 15:06 GMT46
I use a Canon Rebel 6MB, and generally use aperture priority.
I was talking to a fellow recently who said that it was good advice to
"expose right", meaning to set your exposure compensation to 1 or 2
stops higher, when doing outdoor shots.

Olympus AZ-1 screen gone AWOL07 Aug 2006 14:14 GMT3

pointing at. Instead, it has a very, very fine check, a bit  like a
tartan.
