I am fairly new to Digital SLR and have just got Canon 350D. I need a protection filter for the 58mm lens. I plan to get a circular polorizer later. Will a simple glass filter do for the lens protection? Are Hoya filters good enough?

Is there such a thing as a WiFi CF card that would allow say a standard SLR to transmit photos to a host PC as you go? I know some top end DSLR's have this built in but could it be added to others via the CF slot? I'm guessing not because how would you configure the channel etc ...

I am looking for a panoramic head that I can put on my tripod to use with my "ultra compact" camera. I am far from being a professional (as my camera might indicate) but I do like panoramics and would like to improve my panoramics a bit (with out getting a huge/expensive SLR).
