my computer will read a canon compact flash card but not a kodak i need

there are printers that "print" on light-sensitive silver halide
photographic paper using RGB light sources (lasers, LEDs or a
hig-res CRT).

I have a vintage 1999 Canon S10 2MP camera.
I use it mainly as a loaner to friends who visit without a camera.
Until just recently it worked well and produced very good 8x10s
Now when I insert a CF card, the camera flashes the message,

computer to control a camera during shooting whatever.   Can someone tell me
(i)what software they are likely to be using and (ii) is it possible to do
this with a digital single lens reflex and (iii) ...

I am newbie with Kodak Easyshare. I am downloading video clips and they
come out in "Quicklime movie" format.
How can I edit those clips? I am trying to use "Windows Movie Maker",
but it can't work with "Quicklime"

im using  a canon 20d ,cs2 software and  was wondering if there is
anyway to print a 8x10 or a 5x7 etc to that print size without croping
.
i usually just the 8x10 300 res, sharpen and  save as a jpeg to upload

I have a 300D. The second 'rev' - the black one.
I got a 5MB Seagate MicroDrive a while afterwards, and I am finding
that the camera starts to 'reboot' spontaneously after writing less
