4x8 photo card envelopes?26 Jul 2006 14:44 GMT5
Everywhere I go, I see mini-labs offering 4x8 photo cards which
include the envelopes.  I've started designing these cards for my
clients and my local lab prints the 4x8s superbly, but I can't
find a supplier (local or online) which offers the 4x8 (4.125" by
How big a memory card for Canon26 Jul 2006 11:41 GMT2
SD100 and SD200. There are some cheap, fast 2G cards but I wonder if these
cameras can use a card that big.
Thanks much
Panasonic LZ5 camera26 Jul 2006 11:40 GMT18
I was just about to order on line a new Panasonic LZ5 digital camera when I
noticed it had no optical view finder.
My eyes not being too good stops me from seeing anything on the LCD screen
when outside in sunlight.
Testing PBase26 Jul 2006 10:50 GMT5
I am finally getting around to posting some of my pictures onto a
photo hosting site and I am currently trying out PBase. I have never
posted to the web before so, while I'm pretty used to editing pictures
for print, I'm very inexperienced when it comes to preparing my

Still photos with voice--Only Mavica?26 Jul 2006 05:04 GMT13
I am looking to replace my old, but sturdy Sony Mavica 250 with a
camera that stores on a memory card, rather than the mini-CD. The catch
is that I need a certain capability that my Mavica has--namely to shoot
a still photo (stored as jpg) and at the same time record my voice
Dates on Photos25 Jul 2006 23:52 GMT6
I recently acquired a Canon SD100 and when I download the images to my
computer they carry with them the date (and other details). I am using a
HP 1210v printer, but I haven't found a way to get the date to print
on the picture. Is this possible other than with a different ...

Camera-nocs Still in Early Stages?25 Jul 2006 21:45 GMT1
I'm wondering if there are any comments about those binoculars that
come with an internal digital camera. When I tried a pair, it seemed
like they could use a faster shutter speed -- or perhaps jitter control
-- and a few more megapixels.
Why are there no more milkmen?25 Jul 2006 21:29 GMT43
What of a struggling milk man today? Did they all move to Mexico
because of NAFTA? Did they become UPS men?
I think milk men should still be around. Joseph Bartlo's mom told me
life was heavenly when the milk man popped by every week.

Photo Printing25 Jul 2006 20:31 GMT1
Hi. I just wondered if anyone has used the Photo Printing service with
ASDA and if so if its any good?
The pricing seems to be pretty cheap at £7-50 for 150 photos. £7 for
100, £5 for 50.
general digital camera questions25 Jul 2006 20:21 GMT28
Hi, I have been a serious amateur photographer for many years, have
been using a Nikon F2AS for about 25 years, it weighs a ton -- and this
is one reason why am very eager to purchase a digital camera...  but I
don't know much about digital cameras..   I'm trying to figure out what

Wanted - EOS Digital Solutions Disk Ver 12.025 Jul 2006 20:06 GMT5
I have recently purchased a used Canon 30D. The person that I purchased
it from did not give me the Canon EOS Digital Solutions Disk Version
