Can anyone help me. I Have a Premier DC6370 digital camera. It works
perfectly. I then put a Sandisk SD memory card 1.0gb in it. I formatted
as the instructions. My counter says that I have the disc  in and how
many photos I can take. I take them but when I try to view them on
"Painting" digital photos02 Jul 2006 14:28 GMT7
I would like to "paint" over digital photos to try to "convert" them to
a different "art" form.  I want to use the original color in the digital
photo, but add the brush stroke effect.
PS Elements has some ways to convert photos to different art effects,
CF card capacity - different to usual02 Jul 2006 11:15 GMT10
I just got a new CF card, 1Gb. When formatted in my camera it shows up
as 980Mb. The thing is, my other 1Gb CF cards all format to 988Mb. Why
should this one be 8Mb smaller? Assuming it's a bad block or some such
thing, would it remain stable that way, or is the card likely to
D70s Long exposures02 Jul 2006 05:46 GMT11
I've been looking into long night time exposures and it looks as if my only
option with this camera is to get a  ML-L3 remote control
I assume you press it once to open and once to close the shutter when it's
on the bulb setting in manual mode

Are Video Frame Grabs Finally Fit To Print? Is this the future of
photojournalism? A small but passionate group of photographers are
convinced it is.

Going thru memory cards w/ Canon S301 Jul 2006 23:23 GMT5
I got a new, boxed Canon S3 on eBay about 3 weeks ago.  I used an A-Open
Turbo 150x 4 GB SD for about a week and a half, it worked great, then all of
a sudden, I got a Memory Card Error and have since returned it to
zipzoomfly.  A replacement should arrive tomorrow.
Light Weight Tripod for hiking01 Jul 2006 20:58 GMT14
I've got a D200 and a 50x500 Sigma lens.  Its too heavy to hand hold
and can be interesting on a Monopod.
We're going to be doing some hiking Glacier NP and I was hoping to get
recommendations on a light weight tripod that might double as a monopod

Digital vs. 35mm comparison.01 Jul 2006 16:56 GMT34
I have a very old Canon Ftb SLR with a 50mm 1.4 lens. It takes pictures
at a certain quality level.
Digital cameras have lesser or greater quality of picture based in part
on the number of meagpixels used for each frame.

true?

I am about to buy the Casio Exilim Card EX-S600 at Costco for about $330
but before I do, I would like to ask you if that's a good buy (or if
something similar is better out there) today?
All I'm looking for is a small 5 megapixel or greater camera that takes
