Can a 4.1 Take a 8" x 10" Portrait?03 Jul 2006 18:47 GMT23
I've gotten two unbelievably bad, watermelon-head size portraits from
two unbelievably good digital photos from my HP 4.1.  The lab tells me
a 4.1 can't take anything larger than a 4 x 6.  Is this true?  All the
online digital camera primers say with 4,000,000 pixels, you should be
6MP large LCD screen camera wanted.  any advice?03 Jul 2006 17:40 GMT1
I need a new digital camera, preferably 6MP and with a large LCD
screen.  Currys have a Samsung down from £199 to £99 and I wonder if
anyone here can recommend one.  I don't need all the bells & whistles,
just something easy to use and reasonable compact.  Thanks
How do you store yours?03 Jul 2006 16:01 GMT17
I've recently moved over to Digital from 35mm slides.

260606-001 on the slide.
Then I referenced this ID number to a decription, etc (first on paper,
Olympus E1/E300/etc. and use of manual lenses03 Jul 2006 15:27 GMT10
Here is what I have heard so far regarding lenses and their
requirements for digital bodies:
1) Full frame=excellent (i.e. Leica/Contax) lenses can actually
outresolve the body.
Why does Andromeda suck so much a.s?03 Jul 2006 14:14 GMT4
It's like watching a bunch of high school kids put on halloween makeup
and pretend to act. How can a show literally make you want to carve out
your eyeball with a salad fork?
Continuous ink systems and alternative ink questions...03 Jul 2006 13:38 GMT1
I'm not certain if this is the right place to ask this.  Does
anyone have experience with continuous ink systems with an Epson R2400?
Perhaps the 2200 would be transferable experience as well.
Also, does anyone use Lyson's Cave-Paint inks, and do you like

Canon PowerShot S3 IS after a month03 Jul 2006 02:21 GMT9
So I took my S3 IS with me on a trip.  Just a few observations.
1) The rubber grip surface comes off.  I was wearing sunscreen and
insect repellent (not DEET), and it sort of flaked off like the
rubberized
