Enlargement of small photo limits?04 Jul 2006 15:37 GMT7
What would be the max print size, and retain a reasonably good image, of
these 2 JPEG photos: [a] 362x 541(54.4 kb) and [b] 400x 600 (53.2 kb)? Is
there a process that would allow them to be enlarged up to 11x14 or 8x10 and
still be visually OK? I have access to photo labs if ...
How to Get a Free Online Storage Drive04 Jul 2006 14:06 GMT1
Easy to setup instructions, registration *doesn't even validate the
email* address.
Integrates in windows explorer, and you can just drag/drop copy/paste
files naturally.

Q: Infinity focus being nothing of the sort04 Jul 2006 12:40 GMT12
I have owned a few conpact digital cameras and I have been left with
the impression that the infinity focus setting is nothing of the sort
and is more like 30 feet. Has a study been done about this that I could
link to?
Extension tubes and 350D04 Jul 2006 12:15 GMT1
As usual amazed by Brett's dragonflies. I have the Canon 350D and a
Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO Macro DG (58mm) lens.  Will the Kenko
extension tubes work with this setup?
Thanks,

6MP large LCD screen camera wanted.  any advice?04 Jul 2006 09:12 GMT5
I need a new digital camera, preferably 6MP and with a large LCD
screen.  Currys have a Samsung down from £199 to £99 and I wonder if
anyone here can recommend one.  I don't need all the bells & whistles,
just something easy to use and reasonable compact.  Thanks

black smudges04 Jul 2006 05:45 GMT2
Recently I notice that my digital camera (sony dsc-p100) lens contains
two black smudges -- I can actually see the smudges on my pictures --
the black smudges are most prominent when I take pictures of something
bright, like the sky.
If I Cropped A Photo From A 5D...04 Jul 2006 05:00 GMT26
I never was any good at maths.
If I cropped a photo from a 5D to match a 1.6 crop sensor size, how many
megapixels would the image be?
5D Sensor Size = 36 x 24 mm

4MP + Camera Which Allows Remote Capture?04 Jul 2006 01:12 GMT4
Im trying to ocr in some books by using a camera to photograph each page,

Will  a huge SmartMedia card work in this old digi P&S (Oly D-100)03 Jul 2006 23:15 GMT8
I've come across my first digital camera, an Olympus D-100 P&S (1.3MP)
that I want to keep in the toolbag but I'm missing the media card.
Googling for the specs tells me that the largest card at the time was
64MB.  The smallest card I can buy, new, today is 512MB.
Exposure Data Available in Windows, Photoshop, etc?03 Jul 2006 20:59 GMT1
Hello, I downloaded some pictures from my Olympus digital camera for a
project. I was supposed to take exposure notes. Is there any way in
Windows or Photoshop, etc. to view exposure notes for a photo? Thanks!
