what you do here is you complete simple surveys and offers, some
require a credit card, but i just do all the free ones :D
its easy to do, you just register and do the offers, then click the
"done" button when you have completed it to what the instructions say,
First attempts with new Canon 30 D06 Jul 2006 03:31 GMT6
Guys
I took your advice and got me a new Canon 30D I received the camera on
Wednesday and today I spent a little time looking over a trumpet vine I have
in my backyard and was able to capture the photos in this gallery:-
Grad ND06 Jul 2006 00:22 GMT5
I bought a .6 Grad ND (B+W 502). I had the thought in my mind that round
screw in type is not practical because you can't control where is the
transition. I found out there is a square type of filter that allow
sliding. I haven't seen how they are mounting but nevertheless they ...

D50. Monitor problem.05 Jul 2006 23:03 GMT5
My D50 monitor has stopped showing the image for the 2-3 seconds after
photograph has been taken.
Can not find anything in the manual regarding turning on/off. I have reset
camera to default settings but still no luck.
Olympus D-360L SmartMedia cards05 Jul 2006 22:26 GMT1
I recently acquired an Olympus D-360L camera. Nice little camera for
what it is, but I'm now looking for some new cards for it. The manual I
downloaded only mentions SmartMedia cards up to 64Mb. Does anyone know
if a 128Mb card will work with this camera? The 64s aren't quite as ...
Question about weird DOF...05 Jul 2006 21:43 GMT12
Can anyone tell me what the DOF issue is here?
http://www.pbase.com/image/62939916
Is this due to the angle of the shot?  Why would the DOF in the
foreground look like that?  FWIW, the set up is a D70s, 27.5mm PK-13 ->
Storing Spare CF cards next to Spare Battery05 Jul 2006 20:58 GMT5
I have one compartment in my briefcase to store these things. Is there any
reason why not to put spare CF card/s next to my spare battery/s?

How good is high ISO?05 Jul 2006 18:47 GMT9
My Canon A40 has ISO 400 as its highest setting. I've hardly ever used
it because of the noise. I see now that many cameras are offering ISO
800, 1000 and even 3200!
Is this just a marketing tool or have noise levels been reduced to make
Need Tripod recommendation05 Jul 2006 18:44 GMT3
I'm looking for a bit more rugged tripod than the walmart special that I've
had.
I'd like to keep it under $100 USD. Small size when collapsed, about 5 feet
max. height would be nice.
Very STUPID design of current line of SAMSUNG (LCD) monitors05 Jul 2006 16:13 GMT5
Purchased a Samsung top of the line 17" LCD monitor 770P Syncmaster on
June 8. I must say the compatibility of this product (and many current
line of Samsung monitor products as well) and its usability in design
is really a big joke.
Negative Print film vs. Slide Film05 Jul 2006 15:28 GMT17
I know this group is about digital photography, but I also know many
likely still use film on occasion...well...once in a blue moon?  I have
some questions that I do not feel have been answered well enough from
my numerous searches on deja, internet, etc. etc.  Maybe I'm looking
Studio background on the web?05 Jul 2006 15:21 GMT2
I'm making a last-minute collage of some head shots for a group I belong
to.  Some of the backgrounds of pictures people gave me of themselves
are pretty bad.
Where is there a good "studio background" (one of those blue and grey
