I am writing some software to analyse the images from my Canon 20d.  The
work flow I am using us to take pictures in raw CR2 format then convert via
the Canon Software on my PC to 16bit TIFFs. The conversion software is
Digital Photo Professional 1.6.1

I have searched for postings on the recent decision by Jessops to
discontinue secondhand camera sales but have not found any.
This decision by a group with around 200 branches seems astounding to
me and I wonder if they are 'making a great leap forward' in marketing

I'm the family digital image person. They've asked me to scan several
old newspaper clippings and make JPGs of them for  the web as well as
printable versions.  I've tried to scan newsprint before and I get
terrible bleedthrough from the back/reverse side of the clipping.  I

How many flash bursts are possible with a 550EX/580EX continuously?
I know the amount of available light makes a huge difference, however, if
you have an external battery pack for the flash, can it keep up with a 1DMK
