What Is the Name For "Perspective" in Digital Photography?18 Jul 2006 11:14 GMT59
Hello.  I'm going to change my screen name to AsTheCameraTurns.  I
bought a Canon PowerShot A620 two weeks ago, took it back after you
guys told me it was no good for depth of field, bought a Kodak Z650,
took that back because it got bad reviews from DPREVIEW, then finally
Nikon D70s & DX lenses?18 Jul 2006 09:43 GMT12
I just purchased a Nikon D70s.  I was told by the dealer that I should stick
with using Nikon's "DX" series lenses because they are designed to be used
with Nikon's digital cameras.  Is this true, and if so why?  How do they
differ?  Will non-DX lenses work at all?
Nikon D70 No Longer Shoots in Adobe RGB18 Jul 2006 06:45 GMT3
I upgraded the firmware from whatever it was to 2.0 and now JPEGS never
capture in Adobe RGB even though this is what's selected in the menu.
The JPEGS prior to the upgrade are all captured as Adobe JPEG but after
the firmware upgrade Photoshop keeps telling me that it's sRGB.

New photos at my web page18 Jul 2006 01:10 GMT14
I totally ruined my personal economy last week when I bought the Canon 5D...
:-/ Well, anyway, so far I am greatly satisfied! I just put some new photos

the language of photos is fairly international, I ...

Nero problems18 Jul 2006 00:23 GMT6
I have been using Nero Burning ROM since the previous version (5)
without problems but for the last week every time I run it I can burn
1 or 2 disks then it locks up and evetually the whole computer (XP)
locks up and needs to be restarted. I tried uninstalling and
Another Depth of Field Question17 Jul 2006 23:27 GMT56
If depth of field is the degree to which foreground, subject, and
background remain in focus, then is depth of field a misnomer?  If all
three remain in focus, isn't that sort of anti-depth of field?  Is
there another term--for lack of better articulation, I'll call it a
Good Sports Photography Camera17 Jul 2006 23:24 GMT41
Hi, I am a novice photographer and have recently started a website for a
local high school football team.  I plan on taking game photos from the
sideline this season, and would like advice on what digital camera I should
get to do so.  I would like to stay between the $500 - $1,000 ...
Life-size objects in the viewfinder17 Jul 2006 23:14 GMT3
As I am trying to educate myself in the physics of the camera, I have a
question regarding the focal length for which you get objects to
*appear* life-size in the viewfinder? Is this important in any way?
Looking through the viewfinder the objects appear to be life-size at

There seems to be a lack of very basic information on the Kodak website
concerning the downloading and installation of the Easyshare software,
and therefore I would appreciate if anyone can provide any info/answers

Does Rain Interfere with Autofocus?17 Jul 2006 22:17 GMT8
I shot a rugby game in heavy rain today and there are more out-of-
focus shots than I'm used to getting.  Does a strong rain interfere
with the auto focus?   I was using a Canon 20D with a 70-200mm f/2.8L
IS and a 1.4x TC.
