I have a question about a problem that has been bugging me.  I have
experianced this problem even when using a different lense, which I think
happens to be less tham 5.6 at its max.
I am finding that to get a good photo with this flash on the xt that I have

A colleague has a 256 mb CF card full of holiday pics that is not seen
either in his camera or his card reader.  Other cards work fine in both.

Seeing as how RAW/NEF files are damn near 20MB on the D2X, I am
interested in compressing them.  The manual, on pg. 48 states that RAW
compression reduces the file size by 40%-50% w/ "almst no effect on
