| Scan film at home or do it at the lab...Minolta 5400/Nikon V vs. Frontier, etc.??? | 04 Jun 2006 11:19 GMT | 3 |

| Retail Camera Stores, Why They Are In Trouble | 04 Jun 2006 06:56 GMT | 30 |
Today I went to Keeble & Shuchat, a large camera store in Palo Alto, CA, which is having their annual sale. I wanted to buy a Canon 70-300 IS lens. It would still be a little more expensive than B&H, but I could get it right away, and help out a local retailer.

| Question for flash memory gurus. | 03 Jun 2006 21:41 GMT | 10 |
I have a Panasonic FZ5 and 2 2GB SD cards for it. One card is a pq1 2GB, the other is Sandisk Ultra II 2GB. The actual amount of memory on the two cards is different. The Sandisk causes the camera to report 804 shots available, and the pq1 says 703.
