I want to switch from film to digital. I am a serious amateur that currently is shooting a Nikon 8008s and Maymia RB 67. I believe the first thing I need for digital photography is a computer to handle the images. If I get the camera first, I won't have a way to process them. ...

| Small viewfinder compared to film slr | 08 Jun 2006 21:37 GMT | 4 |
I have recently purchased a Canon Eos 350D. When I look through my old Eos 650 film camera, with a 18mm lens I can see a vast amount. Comparing this to my 18mm on the Eos 350D the viewfinder doesn't show a true representation.

| Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 | 08 Jun 2006 18:04 GMT | 7 |
I currently use the 50mm f/1.8 on my 350D for indoor candid portraits, and it's produced some good pictures. Sometimes however it feels a bit short, while my 100mm is in most situations too long (in a nice big room that's also not too crowded it's a winner, but that's not
